VLADIMIR TSYPIN
is a world class concert violinist, a veteran of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, formerly a Second Chair of the Second Violin Section. He received his early training in Riga, Latvia, and was a top prize winner in three Soviet competitions for young soloists. Since emigrating to the United States in 1976, Mr. Tsypin has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist in major concert halls on three continents, as well as taught master classes. Using his extensive invaluable New York Philharmonic experience, he developed his own unique style of coaching young violinists for orchestra auditions. Mr. Tsypin has served as Judge of International Johannes Brahms Competition in Austria.
